Wedding Dresses

If I could pick a job (because I don’t think this is quite a career) without considering the pay, it would definitely be wedding dress tryer oner. I don’t think that’s a word, but you know what I mean.

You may be thinking, fashion model, but I don’t necessarily want to walk the runway or do shows. I just want to try on the beautiful wedding gowns! I want to stand there feeling gorgeous and glamorous. I want to remember that amazing day when everyone told me how wonderful I looked.

When I was choosing my wedding gown all those years ago, my goal was to find THE ONE, and I did try on quite a few gowns. But, looking back, I don’t think I tried on enough. I didn’t consider the fact that it would be my only chance to wear them. I do not regret my choice at all…I absolutely LOVED my wedding dress. I just wish I had savored the moment a bit more, gone to more shops, tried on gowns that weren’t quite “my style”. If only I was more relaxed or realized the finality of this time of life.

OOOH, I just had a thought. Maybe I just need to have another wedding! People renew their vows, right? I should add this to my bucket list and start pinning some gowns!

Or, maybe I’ll find “wedding gown tryer oner” on Indeed. Here’s hoping!
